All applicants for the Lifeguard Heroes Scholarship must answer the following question in a typed essay or as a video response:

What Has Been Your Most Meaningful Accomplishment As A Lifeguard?

Your response should be approximately 500 words or a three-minute video.

We ask that applicants attach proof of enrollment at their university or college. Additionally, you must provide proof of your current or prior employment as a lifeguard (accepted documents include a work log signed by a supervisor).

Your application should be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on 12/07/2026.

How Will Your Application Be Judged?

Your response to the prompt will be judged according to these criteria:

• Originality: Do you tell an authentic story that stands out amongst your peers?
• Clarity: Do you answer the prompt entirely and clearly?
• Presentation: Does your essay read well? Does your video response seem natural?
