Beauty & Wellness Professionals Scholarship – The Beauty Schools Directory team is awarding $2,500 to a student enrolled in or planning to enroll in an eligible beauty or wellness program. Deadlines are always March 1 and September 1. They award $2500 twice each year. Apply here. All students, including DACA recipients, who are pursuing a career in the beauty industry, can apply!
Bonita-Estero Woman’s Club “Woman in Transition” Scholarship – The Bonita-Estero Woman’s Club (BEWC), a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, is dedicated to improving the lives of others in Lee County, Florida. In its first year in the Federation, the Club engaged in fundraisers to give back to the community. Now they seek to offer scholarships, following the Federation’s long history in support of education. Each year, they seek to make a difference by awarding a vocational scholarship to a woman who is seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce. The recipient must reside in Lee County, Florida, and be currently enrolled in or accepted into an accredited Florida Technical/Vocational School. The application packet can be submitted electronically through email or sent in first-class mail. *** Please note : this scholarship can only be applied to a student’s tuition and fees. If your tuition and fees are covered by other funding sources, the scholarship money must be returned to the Woman’s Club; it cannot be disbursed to the student.
